WALKING DEAD Season 4, Sunday 10-13-13

Am I the only one sorely disappointed? My buddies thought it was awesome, but not me. I agree with the killing off of Joe and co without taking any losses. Seems unlikely. I also thought the previous season finales ended with a feeling of closure. Not so much this time.

Yep saw it clearly, all the skulls there.
About Ricks last words before the end, I bet they did not show what the group actually did before they jumped the fense to get in Terminus.
Must be something to ensure they get out of a trap if needed.

They stashed the Rattlehawk, that's how they're going to get out.

I was disappointed, all they did was answer questions. Not as spectacular as I would have liked.

I thought they are setting up next season to be with lot's of action. Me, I can't wait for the next season to see what did Rick cook up for those guys at Terminus to eat.

Being herded like cattle to the slaugter. That's the first thing I thought of when I saw the place was people eaters. Or there just trying to keep them contained awhile to gain trust from them somehow. Cause don't nobody trust nobody in the dead world and if your taking in people no matter how descent of a person they are they are going to be a paranoid psychologically damaged endurer simply from staying alive and inviting people to stay in your sanctuary you have to recivilize them so they won't murder you.

I like the way Daryl was running point with his crossbow on the way in

Can't this idiot find a shotgun ????

Anyone else as concerned as I am that the entire next season will take place inside of that rail car ....

I will admit they did a good job with the flashbacks alluding to finding food. Makes the cannibalism part obvious.

And there goes Daryl's Team Gemini again. This episode is off the hook. October is going to be a long wait.

Daryl lost some cool points with me this episode. He didn't fillet any of Joe's group with it, AND he just threw it down like it was nothing at the end.

I think Tyreese and Carol may have been watching it all go down. They are going to need someone to sneek in to let them out.

On the talking dead they just said how stupid Daryl felt running around in that scene with a crossbow and everyone else had guns :)

I like Daryl again :)

I might have missed it, looking at my phone, I blinked, something.

But did they show who shot the Alex guy that Rick had at gunpoint?

Rick's 1911 had the hammer down anyway, but the shot came from the front. Did one of the snipers do it? Mary? The one guy who tried to talk the situation down? Or did it just kind of happen and ont explain who did it?

They showed a guy for a split second around a corner,I think it was him.

I to would have liked to see Joe go on, but it just wouldn't have worked. He wouldn't have been able to conform with anyone else's rules but his own.

Who said anything about conform? They simply get to Terminus right after Rick and the others do, Tony recognizes Rick, both groups aim their weapons at each other, (How about Dan isn't a brutal pedo), the Satanists or cultists from Terminus take both groups hostage, and stupidly toss them all into the same train-car. Joe isn't stupid. He knows he and his men will need Rick and the others to fight off the cannibals tricking others to coming to Terminus. So they agree on a truce. Rick knows Joe will betray him first chance he gets. But for now, they're comrades-in-arms.

To me it looked like the shot come from in front of the guy, the back there was blood spatter on the ground. May be one of the roof snipers got him??

Nope! They're storing them as food to cook them later.

No, I don't think so. Joe was dead-set on killing Rick. He was gonna let Daryl get beat to death just for asking him not to. He was then gonna kill Carl and Michonne before Rick. Theres nothing capable of cooperating in him.

Back to Terminus... There's a picture floating around on Twitter of Mary from Terminus compared to the creepy painting of a woman that was found in the house that Carl and Michonne were in. Connection?

Connection in that they are both white with brown hair. Beyond that, I don't see a connection.

I think they were herding them with the shots. It's like they weren't even trying to hit them.
Yep. In an ambush, get off the X, but never run away.

Ultimately satisfying.... With just a couple of B.S. scenes. The confrontation where Joe and his group catch up to Rick, Carl, and Michonne was just crap! That confrontation should have happened at Terminus with both groups eventually joining forces against the Terminus group in Season 5. Joe is a helluva character. Killing him off like that, along with the rest of his group was so downright cheesy and unsatisfying!

I dunno. You have some points, particularly from a perspective of liking Joe's character. Barring that, i liked it. Dunno where the hell Carl's gun was, considering he usually kept it with him like Linus and his blanket.

Nope! I can pretty much guarantee that they're going to join up with the rest at Terminus. Likely one of them (okay, probably not Judith) will free the others from the train-car.

Probably Carol will go in an do it. She's known for doing what needs to be done. Right? Besides, I read somewhere she has the most kills of humans of any character. Well, as of 3/9.

Oh crap....

Good catch.

That's certainly the way they wrote it...
