There wouldn't have been a confrontation out in the open, in front of the campfire in the first place.

As mentioned previously, the confrontation between Joe and Rick would be re-written entirely.... and made better. Rick's group enters Terminus. Things go well at first. Then Joe's gang enters. Tony recognizes Rick.... And they have the confrontation at Terminus. (The one I described in my earlier post.) Joe is shown as a bad-ass, but not a complete violent scumbag.

Plus, in the confrontation at the campfire, Joe and his gang are killed off anyway. So obviously, no meeting or truce at Terminus.
 
Let's see. Lots of people shooting at you but they are always missing by about the same distance no matter where you run. The people shooting at you are always placing their shots so that you will run in certain directions. Some doors are locked while others are unlocked even though everyone in the place seems so nice and welcoming. There are shooters whenever you get into the open but there are none in any of the rooms you are running through. You have just run past skulls and ribs when you already suspect they have already done something to the rest of your group. Can you spell "HERDING"?
 
Can everyone just acept the fact that rick plainly stated they were herding them during the "creepy room" scene and not debate on it like it was some original idea picked up on by an observing eye?

And observant ear would've heard that conversation

No need to be insulting, Stvpourciau. Due to hearing loss caused by gunfire I watch television with the sound turned way up and with captioning on. I have to have what you call an "observant ear" by necessity.

Rick and crew do a lot of running around before they get to the "creepy room." It is in the creepy room that Michonne says, "these people, I don't think they are trying to kill us." Then Rick says, "no, they were aiming at our feet." Those are the exact words used by both of them.

Your statement that Rick "plainly stated they were herding them" is therefore not accurate. I suppose you could read into his words that he was saying that they were being herded but they can just as easily be read to mean that the shooters were trying to wound them rather than kill them. Either way, his observation was too little, too late.
 
Did anyone see if the doctor, scientist, mullet head was in the rail car? I didn't notice him and have not watched the episode again... yet.
 
Yup, he was in the background. No one would be so calm if Eugene got killed. Guy who could save the world.... dead.... That's not going to be a calming thing to know.
 
I am going to start back at season 1 episode 1 while I wait for October to come. This is going to be a hell of a wait! Like stated earlier, I really hope the entire season doesn't take place in the rail car. I was getting bored with the prison scene, a railcar won't be much better!
