Walking Dead Season 5 (HEADS UP: Possible Episode Spoilers May Be Posted Within)

I was on the verge of not watching any more because of the S L O W episodes.

What will we watch until February?
 
Found out what happened on last nights episode due to the show's FB page. I can understand spoilers in the comments, but on the main page? :mad:

Now I'm all sad. Why Beth? I loved Beth, and the evolution of her relationship with Daryl. :(
And we please get rid of Carl already? He's seriously the most useless character on the show (along with the preacher and Eugene.)

At least Morgan is sort of back in the show. Should be interesting seeing what happens when he finally meets up with them.
 
When Beth stuck that scissors into her, I thought finally and them bam..shit I that startled me. What a way to go :(

I've heard rumors of a spin-off focusing on a different group in a different region of the same world.
 
I agree with everyone else....Beth was great and really was a developed character. But look at the response her death has had. If it would have been one of the characters that were about as useful as the handle on a piss pot....who cares? No one is broken up about it. Kill off someone popular and it spurs conversation.

I did feel bad for the actress. She was crying for most of the Talking Dead afterward. She's young and you could tell it was definitely an emotional investment/loss for her character's death. Hopefully they bring her back in future episodes via flashbacks or maybe a hallucination (like Rick and Lori, except this time it would be Maggie).

Also, getting rid of Daryl's Busse....definitely odd. Not sure about any money/blades changing hands but at the zombie apocalypse Busse's definitely going to be your go-to-blade. Sure as hell don't want the crappy Gerber Baer Griylls gear they tried peddling in season 1.

I took this shot of the 11/16/14 show with Daryl holding his knife. Looks like a TG to me, but can't figure out what's on the blade. Looks like the handle was damaged somehow.

I could be mistaken but it looks like the tilt of the handle and the curvature of the blade aren't matching up.

Ever since D dropped the TG at Terminpiss...it's been a knock-off / poorly executed prop copy.

Strongly agree that Beth was the wrong character to kill off at this point in the story. But let's be honest, the show was dry as hell all season until her hair blew back.

I've always wondered about this. I wondered why there wasn't more of a public connection put out there. There has to be a lot of people who would buy the "Daryl knife" who don't know about Busse. It seems like an easy money maker. Of course, I'm sure there is a lot I don't know.

What about the recent TGLB in the pic above? It sure doesn't seem like a real Busse.
