Walking Dead Season 5 (HEADS UP: Possible Episode Spoilers May Be Posted Within)

There is a scene were Darrel puts a knife in the sheath and grabs another off the table. I believe it was in the "butcher shop" scene.

My thoughts too! I was glad to see it played out like it was.
 
What do you suppose the point of the bat to the head was prior to the cut throat? Does human taste better when there is brain trauma before bleeding out?
 
I would guess to keep them from thrashing around all over the place.

So the meat isn't tainted by zombiefying. If the just cut the throats a person would start to turn.
 
Isn't the TGLB still with the little girl who was kidnapped? Maggie's sister or did I miss something.

Nevermind went back and reviewed he got it back

He said there was a 44 mag in the bag, in the episode Carl had a Marlin 1894. Not sure if they still had it or what, or he wanted to make it sound all bad assy for the Terminus people to say he had a fourty Foo
 
It was definitely one of the best opening episodes. My wife just got into the show in the last 3 episodes of the previous season. So every 2 minutes she kept interrupting and asking me questions.

I'm a butcher and we always knock the animals out with bolt gun before bleeding so they are more "compliant"
 
The best season opener thus far!!! :thumbup: We were glad to see Carol rise up and be a force. I thought about how her character has changed and it's the most from season 1 until now. She has gone from a wife that got beat on to killing and blowing things up. :D

So I forgot to ask this question earlier, but after watching the episode again I now remember. What was the deal with the symbols on the tree that Morgan is now following? Did Rick put those up? Because it sure didn't look like he was putting anything on the trees when he walked into the woods. Also, does that particular symbol mean anything? Never seen anything like it before. Just hope Morgan and Rick are back together soon! A group of that size and caliber is going to be one hell of a force to be reckoned with.
 
I agree in that a lot of it seemed to be luck rather than characters' abilities that kept them alive (with the exception of Caroll). I was surprised none of Rick's group was killed off in last season's finale or this season's premeire.
