Mind blowing. I have picked up a couple of fitment cues from the photos. Thanks for that. I will be trying my hand at engraving soon. Ken Hurst is a master!!

Ken finished the knife and I got it back today. I must say I'm more than happy with it!He did full coverage and was even able to do the inside curves that most engravers try to avoid. Actually this is some of the best work I've ever had done on one of my knives.
I need to polish the tops and ink the bottoms so the engraving will pop. The 3D effect will be amazing.

Unbelievable, Bruce....

What a craftsman..... It was beautiful BEFORE the engraving... this is something else, man.

Holy cow! That went from stunning to .... uh .... extra-super stunning?

I don't usually run out of words.

Dang, Ken even engraved the pummel nut! How wonderful to behold the collaboration of two masters. I trust the sheath and presentation case will be equally zestful?! Thanks for sharing!

Bruce

Thanks Phil, I'm working on the sheath next and will get the throat and tip off to him next week. Its going to be leather lined with a hard body and covered with real gator hide. No display box I hope.

I'd like to thank you guys for your kind comments ---- it was a real pleasure working on such a beautiful piece. By beautiful, I mean not only the appearence But, the quality of fitting & polishing that often goes unseen. Mr. Bruce is partially to blame for the design as he told me to do as I liked. Easy man to work for ........

The design cant be captured well on these home pictures. Ken has some given talent for designing difficult scrolls. The leafs wrap around and behind themselves and when finished will give a deep appearance. Most all my other engraving jobs are flat scrolls that look good but this one is shaded with fine lines that the camera cant pick up and show. I think Coop can capture the real beauty here. This thread aint over yet.

Thanks Ken for putting your heart and sole on one of mine. Your are gifted my friend.
Bruce
