Wallet EE / Survival Kit Field Photos

Here's what I would do if I were going to carry escape tools most of the time (photo below). Now you have the Ti blade, cuff key and a piece of Kevlar cord and all of this can be hidden in a waist band or under a clothing tag (Levis Jeans tag?) and will be missed by just about anyone searching you. Tie a small knot on the free end of the cord and leave it hanging out (secured) just a little bit so all you have to do is grab the knot and retrieve the tools.

It should also be noted that depending on who takes you, even proper concealment may not work. With that said, TYPICALLY first line combatants and enemies are usually not that bright in the places we haunt. Escaping from first line guys is your best shot at freedom. As you get passed up the ranks though, the enemy typically gets smarter and takes more things from you and searches better.

That is also why a lot of law enforcement personnel get their panties in a knot over stuff like this for no good reason at all. For one thing, we're still a Constitutional Republic and we're not supposed to have "secret police" where they are allowed to have stuff that we are not, for another, if they actually perform as they are taught, they won't have a problem with things like keys, picking or shimming. People make certain movements when they are positioning and repositioning their hands and palms and working their fingers, etc.

I could go on and on about this but, suffice it to say, Latin America and some other places don't have the higher standards law enforcement have here and kidnappers certainly don't. Ultimately, that's what this stuff is for. It's not for escaping controlled custody here unless that controlled custody happens to be some kidnapper. Which, thanks to our stupid illegal immigration policies, has become more of a concern over the last few years.

are we waiting until these reach the dealers to see a price, or did i miss something? if i did, sorry... i'm excited. :)

A definite buy for the kit. Which is expanding....

This will be next to two of the best bit of gear I have found and tried:
From SAR Global Tool: SAR Eclipse Signal System with Titanium knife
http://sarglobaltool.blogspot.com/

and Oscar Delta bracelet with kevlar paracord and plastic key http://www.oscardelta.co.uk/SERE_Bracelet.html

Jeff will you be selling any of the components separately to be able to expand as new things are brought out ?

I showed you mine, now lets see yours.......

Definitely looks like I have to get one now. Usually the more gear I get, the more other gear I don't need..but this is a smart winner. I like how it pairs with the Izula too.

Looks like an excellent addition to a lot of kits some of us might already have or be in the process of assembling, Jeff. Thanks.

Looks pretty cool. I will probably pick a couple up for myself and my brother/dad.

Not sure I understand the SERE bracelet. How do you conceal it? If left as a bracelet I can tell you it's gonna be gone even from the first line captors seeing it.

BTW: If you are a Law Enforcement trainer for your agency or department, then drop us an email so we can sample a kit out to you so you can teach your guys what to look for.

Jeff nice job!
ESEE is really upping the ante on survival/E&E products! Keep em coming!!

WTF is that sarglobaltool? I clicked on that link three different times and had the PC lock up. There must be ads up the ass on that thing or something. :D

I never got to that one. Way to graphic heavy on that page

Interesting, if nothing else, apparently dyslexic. :D

So, it's a pocket comb with a pocket clip, that's cool. Titanium is cool. You could rake the teeth across some miscreant's face and kick him in the bag and run like hell, good, good, good...but am I missing something else?

Back in the 80s, running with the wrong crowd, we used to have stainless steel rat-tail combs because they were totally legal! :D

Now I can't find any, just plastic and soft aluminum junk.

Is this thing supposed to do anything other than comb your snotcatcher or blind an assailant or something?

It's really small but it is useless for E&E if you don't properly conceal the items (concealment techniques are printed on the cards). It should also be noted that depending on who takes you, even proper concealment may not work. Well said!!!!
When I get the kit, I'm definately going to make a short video showing some ways to use and carry the gear. Hopefully I can get my order before the collecting hawks who will never need to carry or use it buy them all up! :D lol!

Awesome pics as always Jeff. Thanks for posting those SWAT articles. I have January, but couldn't ever find February anywhere.

Some of you might remember "Bum Fights" that was kind of big several years ago, basically a bunch of crackhead bums acting a fool on video. Some of those guys impressed me with the places they hid their crackpipes and stuff. And no, none of it required a Keister Kapsule.
