Wally world knife suggestions?

I've only purchased one knife from WM and that was my Native last year. And for the record I would never insult WM by calling it Wally World. I call it Mutant Mart. Go there on a weekend night and see why. :D
 
The Wally World name of course came from the Chevy Chase movie, Vacation I believe.

I have stopped looking at knives at Walmart. I get frustruated... you wait around for an associate to show up, then they don't have a key to the locked case... then finally someone shows up with a key and every knife I'm interested in looking at is out of stock. I gave up and order online now. Buying ammo is bad enough there unless one of the associates happens to be standing at the sporting goods counter.
 
I admit that I haven't read all the replies, so it has probably already been recommended. If it has, then I second - get a Kershaw OD-1.

Lol I know what you mean. I’ve got into the habit of paging for help myself. ( pick a phone near or on the knife counter dial “#96” wait for the music over head to stop and presto your talking to the whole store, just say something like “customer assistance to the knife counter or something like that). Its really the only way to get help without going out on a search party for an employee.
 
on the OD1, does the pivot screw go through the lock side, and thread into the liner on the g10 side?
 
thanks. that link helped alot. now i think i'll go pick one up(i wouldn't be interested if it just threaded into the liner).
