Got out for a 4mi hike today. It was hot as hell, but a good time. I briught along a Rambo4 style knife charlieridge let me play with, Its a great camp knife, I was really impressed!

4 good whacks and it chopped through with ease. Took 3 whacks to baton it.
Thing is a great chopper, pretty comfy for such a rough knife. All in all a great camp knife!!
 
I ride these trails on my singlespeed too. They are pretty windy and rocky, w/ some narrow passages and steep inclines/declines. A rad ride nonetheless...

Thanks guys, itwas like 91 degrees and very humid. It was nice to get away by myself for awhile. I got my balls stomped at work yesterday, and slept for like 3 hrs, but I wanted to get out today, and I did. I go in for another 24 tommarow and with my boxer dyin, I needed a mental adjustment.....
 
keep at it man, it will get better soon. just deal with these couple of rough days and you will feel so much better when its over.

good that you were able to get out for a while, its always good to have some time in the woods.

Thanks brotha, I feel alot better after some r&r in the woods.... Thats how I deal with stress, and particularly bad shifts....

Singlespeed?

This is mine. A 1999 Cannondale Killer V. The shock is a new 2005 with lockout. This bike weighs almost nothing.

heres mine man, It started out has a specialized hardrock, and has morphed into this. I replaced theseat with a T.H.E seat, The cranks are new shimanos, all the singlespeed drivetrain was aquired from misfit psycles, the chain tensioner is a surly(the best IMO), The skewers are hope, The grips are bmx skull grips from danscomp, the barends are bmx barends from animal. Crankbros 50/50 platforms, I have since added a white bros ridgid carbon fork, and cane creek brakes, and headset. I also have some kenda klaws to slap on it. This is my beast. 1 gear---fast! what gear ratio you runnin? Nice cannondale bro....

R4 is 1095, w/ a wicked convex edge on it.... Edge retention was really good, a couple strops brought it back to shaving sharp.
 
That it is. I think if it were mine I would reshape the handle and add some micarta slads w/ hollow pins to it, With some thumb grooves on the spine. I am a fan of a sheepsfoot blade, so I like that.
