You can find a couple nice midtechs in the 400-500 range but you'll have to be quick to act when you see one pop up for sale... I must apologize as these don't fall under your requirements- I thought you'd be happy to know of a couple other options thoughGood point. So your suggestion is the Sebenza? I'm definately not an abuser, but they'll get some work camping and such, but any of these should be more than up to the task.
I have not looked into any of the mid techs. Are they within my roughly $500 price range?

I just got rid of my ZT0550 and replaced it with this:

The Dervish Navajo midtech, which offers a nice 4" blade and an edge with a nice balance between cutting performance and being plenty beefy enough for any tougher tasks you may encounter. Later this year this knife will be released as a titanium frame lock in about a 3.5" size.....
BUT you said you wanted a titanium framelock, so I recommend you check out the Southard Avo. I haven't handled one yet but based on Brads work, I'd say this is definitely worth a look, unless you just can't get get around your distaste for flippers.
Michael Burch has been making some really nice midtechs as well and they are non-flipper all titanium knives
Good luck with your search! Good things lie ahead...
Oh yea you're totally right about that! I do like this blade shape quite a bit, easy to sharpen, nice and stabby and with some belly to get work done![]()
Many differences, but such similar blade shape... TiSpine cost me $384.95 new. 1/8" blade stock, Ti framelock.
I've never seem that knife. I like it!! It.pretty much nails what I want doesn't itOh yea you're totally right about that! I do like this blade shape quite a bit, easy to sharpen, nice and stabby and with some belly to get work done
The TiSpine/aculus/blackwater knife just got on my radar last week and I'm liking it more and more with every pic I see...actually OP, this is a knife worth checking out as well!
Yup! That's what I was thinking too, seems like everything that you wanted while also having the added coolness of Elmax, a one piece integral frame, and the feel-good factor that comes with finely made Italian products.I've never seem that knife.
