want a tiny knife that is cheap and can take abuse

Second the Boker, go for the Plus in AUS8. Wearing a canvas or web belt and the Boker clips right on looking like an extra buckle. Always the little "go to" knife is the Buck Strider 881SP. Just as tough as anything out there in this size. Take off the clip and put on a lanyard and she rides beauty in the back pocket.

Matador-

Third vote for the Subcom.
Also fits in the coin pocket in jeans.

Love it when threads from half a year ago get bumped... Woud hope that the guy made his decision by now?

i ended up getting a kershaw onion and the ag russell pen knife

the onion is fantastic. tiny and the assisted opening is great

the pen knife was also great, its amazingly tiny and thin and light and yet still useful... for a while... i kept it on my keychain

one day i dropped my keychain and the knife just came flying off. the keychain attachment part just broke. ive sent it back for a replacement but :(

How about a Spyderco Spin? GREAT little knife! You really can not go wrong with any Spyderco knife.

Times and tastes have changed, and funding is a little easier to come by. Boker Subcom and Buck Strider 881 have since come and gone, now it's an Atwood Booger! :)

Matador-

they sent me a new one

but the new one broke while i was trying to put the keychain ring on it

the knife is great, but the keychain attachment is ridiculously flimsy

:(

Do you mean Chive?
And did Russel fix the penknife?
