I would love to have a buck knife - because it's what I carried when I was younger. I went through high school with a 110 folding hunter in my back pocket, and folks didn't freak out and call the cops.
I had a 120 General until I gave it to my dad to replace his 119 Special that was stolen when his house was broken into.

that I would deserve it you would have to ask someone close to me. They "might" have
something to say about that. :/
Recently I've really been enjoying this (can I say subsection?) of blade forums. I belong
to only one other "tool" forum where you see this level of enthusiasm, commitment, and
information passed around to the good of all.
I like the Buck brand and have recently just started a very modest collection of 110's. What a great collectible user. Nothing is safe from duty in this house.
Anyhow, whomever wins your great giveaway I'm sure they will be very happy with it.

I've been shopping a knife for my 16 year old brother for Christmas. I am looking for value, a solid blade and a conservative design. I think he's ready for the responsibility of having one, but I don't think my mom would let him run around with some big tacticool knife in his pocket, so I've been looking at the 110 and Prince models to get him.

Well,I don't know if i deserve a new buck knife,but i need to vent so here goes,picked up my parcel at the post office(trail camera from cabelas)and then took the wife to the supermarket so she could pick up a few things she forgot.I'm sitting in the jeep and open my t-cam with my alaskan guide 110 that was in my fanny pack for hunting.Looked at the cam and what else was in the box.Then a lady was walking around and it appeared she was looking for her car,elderly lady and that is what she was doing.I get out and offer assistance,we find her car,help her in and get her on her way,get back to the jeep,MY PARCEL ,110 ALASKAN,AND CUPHOLDER FULL OF CHANGE..GONE..I am getting real sick of theives

I went back into the supermarket to talk with the owner,he said no cameras outside,just inside so sorry can't help you.Worst part is in my pack is identification with my hoime address on it...
 
Dave, I like The Longbows idea, but will take it a step further......I think it should go to someone in your local scout troop. I'm sure their scout master could find someone who "wants it, needs it, deserves it" a lot more than I do.

Dave, I am FEVERISH for that knife...Dave I NEED that knife...I WANT that knife...I REALLY NEED IT!!!...I've found that I NEED it more than most anyone I know because of this FEVER I got. Would love to have a new Buck knife.

I'd give it to my 11 year old son Jacob as his first knife other than a small SAK.

Funny thing is, when I was around 12 a neighbour of my Dad's gave me (of all things) a Buck 110 which I had for 10 years or so before losing it while taking an unexpected swim, but that's another story...lol.

If you were to give me a model I didn't already have, or a special of one I do have, I'd add it to my collection. Otherwise I might pass it on to someone who would appreciate it, or donate it to a good cause, like a fundraiser auction or raffle. What that fundraiser would be, would depend on what's current around the time I got the knife.

Nice gesture in any case Dave, whether or not I win. :)

I would love a Buck. The first knife I carried was a made-in-Pakistan copy of the Buck 110 that I got at a flea market when I was 13. I didn't know then that it was a copy of anything. (I didn't know why it would cut anything either.)

I got a real Buck 110 a few years ago and learned what the real thing is all about. It's an American Classic in the elite company of icons like Coca Cola, Harley Davidson, and Levi Strauss.

I carry a Buck Mayo TNT sometimes, too, and would surely like something else from Buck.

I think I deserve a Buck knife because I have just graduated college with my B.S (no pun intended). I have been browsing these forums and really like what I have experienced so far. The members are super nice and helpful for all my questions. Recently I got into collecting knives, both folders and fixed blades and I honestly have just a few since I don't have the moolah to snatch up whatever catches my eye. Anyways, I just wanted to say that I deserve it because I didn't get any fancy graduation present like alot of kids out there because I don't come from a well off family, and I can't seem to land an interview for a job so I am in a bit of a pickle. Lastly, I just want to say that I do not own any Buck knives and thought this was a great opportunity to actually get a feeling for their quality.

Dave ef I doont gett thet nief I jest no mi wiif wil thunk of me as les then a man, evr sins i gave all my mony to that preetcher promisin eternal life and a set of stake nives fer 1000 clams she has bin doun on me. i need this nife to ether fix my marraige or put an end to it all. eethre way its ok if i win won of ure famus nives at least one of my 73 kids will be able to sel it 4 thare nxt meal. plese pick me like u wood pick a booger coz i gotta have 1.
 
I think plumberdv should get it, hes one of the nicest men I'v met on this forum and has helped me alot with my collection and I can't thank him enough.
