ok lets say there is a guy...... he has a handle name that makes it obviuos that he is a ..... racist...... and you dont like racism...... and he is the one that post i will take it first on your for sale thread...... do you honor it despite the fact that he is someone you despise......

i would say yes, honor the sale.

unless:

1. he is on your ignore. i dont sell to anyone on the paynomind list, since i cant read their posts anyway.

2. there is a legitimate reason to believe he/she will not pay or live up to their end.

3. he violated some rule you posted in your thread, ie: put 'ill take it' in email or pm instead of thread, made a conditional offer, etc.

perhaps you shouldnt assume that his handle speaks of the person. are his posts racist as well??
 
I wouldn't personally. I believe you can choose not to sell to people whose morals you might question on any grounds. I'd also report it to the mods and let them decide just how racist that is. but then, I'm a little touchy about that one.
 
i was looking at your thread, and his posts. the handle may indicate something, but i dont know for sure.

none of his prior posts, though only 15, seem to indicate anything about his character.
 
I can see no reason to be sure his handle makes him a racist.

Innocent untill proven guilty.

Go with what You feel though I guess.



I do not know what his SS in handle means though??? Hope its not pro Hitler or anything, my Dad almost died in WWII

I believe you have the right to turn down any customer...

But money sees no color or religion... you could take satisfaction in taking their money... if you really wanted to be bad, you could charge them a racism fee. :D :D

hypothetically speaking of course.

I don't think I would have even noticed that had you not said anything. Personally I don't think it means what you think. For all we know this could be Sammy Sosa, Sally Struthers or Soupy Sales:) . 1945 Could mean anything. Besides this guy is from California. Only surfers and hippies in CA. Hey, maybe he's SuperSurfer 1945:D :thumbup:. I say sell it to him. Good luck with your decision.

Oh yeah, the Ganzaaa is next Saturday. Still feeling the effects of that boo-boo.:p
 
man oh man.... this guy you folks are refering to has ss initials.... but his handle made me think of this...... that is why i asked the question...... i have no reason to think he is a racist......
 
ss1945 is not a racist.... and i in no way wanted this conversation to even turn this way i was asking a what if question......

super sport maybe? thats what comes to mind when i see SS though there weren't any Chevelle's in 1945. if the situation were real and not hypothetical i would suggest asking him or her if the handle had a particular meaning( i would do this via pm and not in the actual for sale thread though)
