Can anyone help. I need blocks of top quality burl - all sorts. Either stabilised blocks of untreated larger pieces. Let me know if you've got something. It will need to be shipped to the UK...
 
A lumber yard near where I live has Black Birch Burl 40" by 40" for $600.00 USD.

They also have much smaller bowl blanks (perfect for scales) of:

I have access full burls Timbo at pretty good prices all of which at one place are US west coast woods and I have another source that has exotics. I think the shipping is going to be unreal if you want drop me a PM I will see what I can do to help.
 
Check out Burl Country. Their home page says, "We Ship Anywhere". I purchase from them from time to time. They usually have lots of California Buckeye Burl, Birdseye Maple, Redwood Burl, and Maple Burl.

That being said, perhaps they might be able to accomodate you, if not I would be willing to facilitate shipping if possible.
