Wanting good folder for 180 dollars?

Then def check out the Military. Phenomenal knife. So many steel/G10 choices. The 204P/green G10 is my number one Military pick.

I vote Military too! For around your budget, you can get an M4 Millie from BHQ. Awesome freakin' steel in an awesome Spyderco pattern. The Military is ALL knife for sure!

I like everything about the Military except for the tip down clip. I understand why Sal chose to do it, but it kills the ergonomics for me...

I keep thinking that I should give one a shot, just pull the clip off and make a belt sheath for it. Maybe something like the sheath for the Mud Bug...

I've carried without a clip before, just loose in my front pocket. I already carry enough crap in my pockets, so that didn't last long! The ergos are actually real nice without the clip. But the clip doesn't bother me, so I carry it that way. I imagine sheath carry would be awesome too!

Reate Hills. Just buy it. Better than any other knife mentioned yet in this thread, so long as you're good with a frame lock flipper.

I'd drop the mic but folks downstairs keep complaining.

ZT 0562 G-10 Elmax $200.00 from dealer Less on the secondary market
ZT 0562 CF You need to check it out on secondary market. The can be had for around $200.00 Sometimes slightly used
These are great knives.3.5" blade but it carries like a smaller knife. It's the Hinderer that Hinderer wishes his knives were.
Be careful on secondary market. Person must have good track record and feedback because their are clones that are amazingly good.

I'm not big on frame locks, but I like the looks of it. Definitely added on the list of possibilities, along with other knives mentioned so far. Thanks for the suggestions so far guys.

You could potentially make a sheath that auto opened your mili as you drew it. While the leather is still mouldable pinch in where the Spyderhole is so the sheath will have two leather divots which pinch into the Spyderhole. The result being when you draw the knife the two divots pull on the Spyderhole until you pull hard enough to free the blade.

I carry mine clipless always. For me , it's the only way I carry any knife. With the length and light weight of the Military, it feels natural and is easily retrievable.
