War Dog

Looks good, but I'm holding out to see what crawls out of the Swamp before I cash in.

How long do you think that War Dog will last?

Just bought one.
This looks like a pretty darn nice outdoors / bushcraft style knife and it's INFI.
The price is pretty good if you compare it to equivalent bark river knives.
This one is going to be an instant classic I think !

Another Swamp holdout here as well. ;) :D

yup... i like infi and i like res-c but i don't know that I'm gonna be too big a fan of the war dog... especially if there's gonna be something big in the swamp soon :D

come on infi ratweilers and m11's :D

I picked one up. Eric did say there was something cooler and bigger coming from the swamp though. I am really curious what it is. I need a chopper.

War Dog is a cool design, but I also am waiting for the Swamp chopper (ChopMastiff?!?!).

Im holding out. Thats a really sweet design but Im scared if I buy one I wont have the money for a new knife from the swamp.

I'm in the minority I guess. Looks like a kitchen knife to me. Makes it easier to hold out something bigger and badder (I hope) from the swamp.

I think its a nice looking knife and I appreciate the smaller choil than on my RMD. I'd like to grab one of these if I can scare up some $$$. Need to sell a few first. I don't have anything in INFI yet and I think this would be a great knife to try it.

Hi in dans post he said limited and good luck in getting one so I don't know. it sounds limited but it opened up around 2am central time and is still up now.

Guess it depends on how much infi they got to work with.

It does look like a kitchen knife, but that's kinda cool! I'm in for one

Yeah, the handle looks sweet. I'm passing though. 5" blades are kind of no-mans-land for me and if it was a less expensive steel I might have gone for it. Maybe if it was a purer fighter too...that all said, I have that pang of "ouch, I want it". But wifey took a lay off too, unless I sell my waki in the next day, I figure it ain't gonna happen...

I hope to hear full reports when they land and I'm kicking myself!

For me there are three lengths of knives that have uses:
3' = EDC
4'-5' = Bushcraft
8+ = Chopper
knives with 6-7' blades are compromise knives.
I usualy go out with at least two knives :D

And NO it's not a steak knife it's a bushcraft knife...

A 5 inch satin INFI blade at .235 thick with a res c handle for $180 was too good a deal for me to pass up.
