War Dog

I think I am going to pass for now as well. Almost all my fixed blades are in the 4.5" to 6" blade length. I have no choppers and I need one badly. If the swamp releases a chopper I will probably jump on that.
 
I couldn't resist after watching the video. Nice little knife.....and it's frickin' INFI!!!!!
 
I ordered my War Dog 3 days ago and here it is. So awesome!!!!

If you are on the fence I would recommend getting one before they are gone. You will regret it if you pass this up!

Great pics! I have the HR gen 2 and the same S5, so I really appreciate the comparison. Seems like a very different blade for the Yard...more a bush knife. I'm curious how it will cut with the thicker blade. New handle looks very nice!

It cuts great, somewhat due to the convex edge. Have you seen the Youtube vid?
 
yeah, but I figure food prep will be very different and processing wood I'm looking forward to trying.

My War Dog came in and it's very nice. Slim long profile yet thick enough to do some real work.

I am surprised that it looks so close in size to the SS4!
 
Well I just gave in and got one.... Lets see if it can out-compete the RMD as my go to blade :D

The War Dog has a much smaller choil, so the length is almost the same as the SS4. I'm not a big fan of choils, so the smaller the better. In fact, I'd prefer the War Dog blade to go back almost to the handle for a little more useable blade. I'm not complaining, the WD is a great knife.
