Warning. Pictures of my leg.

That looks like so much fun I could just puke! The last time they packed ribbon in an open wound of mine they let it stay in until the end healed into the wound so when he yanked that last inch of ribbon I was headed towards the foot of the bed screaming and he was backing into the hallway fast. Thanks for the sickening, gross photos and get well soon!

And finally...what came out of me!...and a little Busse content to stay on track:D:D

The sister pieces fit together perfectly. The one that just came out (on the right...bit of rust/blood)still has a bit of my uniform embedded in it and the one that came out the day I got hit has a bit of my OTV and kevlar attached to it. They were separated 4 years ago and now they are back together sitting in a medical cup next to some of my favorite Busses.

hey at least the shrapnel wasn't in your nards!!;)

Good to get it out though...

Jason - that is just some crazy arse shXXsss. I hope you were able to smoke a couple of the bad guys while you were there because for me all this would have been waaaaay personal.....

At least you got this all out of you and can move on without wondering when it will next become a problem. Cool you have the two parts that fit and that it "only" was stuck in you leg and you are around to tell the story. :)

Man that is just crazy - DRINK UP!!!

Cobalt -

Didn't you see the older x-rays? Close enough to count, Bro! :)

Gravelface, very glad you're still with us.

Thanks for the update - here is a big  to help get well, soon.

My grandpa and uncles used to trade stories about the 'traveling shrapnel' from WWII and Viet Nam... I hope your 'internal journeys' are over, Amigo!

Thank you for your service!

may it all heal finally

prayers and smoke

Thanks to you for your brave service from my family.

God Bless ya Jason!

Your pic's reminded me of the day I had the wires holding my jaw together taken out (jaw broke in two places.) I am sure glad you are here to tell us about it. You have been in my prayers and will be.

Man, those are some big ol' piece of steel! I'm glad it's finally out - and I hope it'll heal up quick.

Thanks for the lead on the underwear... :D

A roadside bomb hit me a few years ago and the shrapnel migrated from my crotch to the back of my thigh where the doc were finally able to get it out without causing "too" much damage to my leg.

The worst part of this is I won't be able to make it to Knob Creek!!!!!:mad:

Well shit dude! Thanks for doing a job many others wouldn't.

WOW!.

I'm glad that the shrapnel is finally out. Thanks for the pics, I think, although I could have done without the one's where you were pulling the ribbon out ;)

I'm sorry you can't make it to the Creek.

DUDE......

Hopefully your over the hump. Hopefully its all down hill.

I will keep you in my prayers.

I have a buddy who got hit in GWI. He is still going through it.

And I daresay Cobalt trusts you, too.

Here's the infamous pecker picture, now in a family-friendly censored version. :p
