I heard about them 4-5 months ago..can't even remember who from. I've been trolling these forums along with the For Sale section learning myself all about Busse's just about every day lol. I was really close to buying a few knives from the for sale section but putz'd around and other people got to them before me. As for what made me do it...The first Busse knife I fell in love with was a Sar 4 ( it was also the first Busse I had ever seen heh ) so this 8 1/2 inch brother of it pushed me over the edge.:o
 
search and rescue? That blade looks better suited for search and destroy. What a vicious looking blade. I'd like to wait for the DC/Blk Micarta version but then I might miss out all together. THese Busses just keep getting cooler and cooler. KZ, TB, SR8

Pretty cool one to get started with--far cooler than the SAR4 IMO. And don't fool yourself, it's only the start. :thumbup:
 
i got one, this knife will amaze you and for those who have a sar-4 even more so. the extra length of this blade balances out the knife so well that it feels way lighter than the sar-4, it will blow you away! some will be shipping tomorrow and be arriving saturday. wait till you hear the reviews!

Oh !and i just got a new credit card today, so of course i made a wise purchase a new SAR8, HOLY CRAP I CANT WAIT, that thing is awesome!! I can hear it already yelling, BEAT ME, BEAT ME!!
 
Just woke up about to go to work, thought I would have another go at ordering a SAR8 and with a little creative thinking managed to get my customer account sorted. Placed my order so this'll be only my 2nd LE.

Can't believe these are still up. Well looks like a great start to the day!
