Warning!!! SAR-8 LE Knife Porn

Hey guys I am having trouble getting in touch with the company store. If I were to order my SAR-8 sheath with the blade itself, could I save a couple $'s on shipping? Sorry to sound like a cheapskate...but every dollar counts when you're unemployed...:o

firstly, don't talk to me like people here at busse forum don't lie and play games about how to get "busse" knives. re: any ganza. so when you and the busse folk set a precedent like that don't talk to me like a fool because i don't jump to believe you the first time.

secondly not everyone knows about busse how they do business and its hard enough to find out what they made much less what they are making. so try not to take your knowledge for granted.

Its generally pretty clear when anyone from busse is being genuine or not. Especially when it comes to a new knife available. I've only been here a few months, and at no point did it ever cross my mind that someone photoshopped the sar8. You just have to be a little quicker, and more internet savvy. You'll get em next time!

In defense of ron_80, it is NOT clear to busse noobs (like me) what is the difference between Bussecombat.com and Bussecompanystore.com. Moreover, once at Bussecompanystore.com, it is simply not possible to see what knives are actually for sale. That is, unless you just click 'Order', which is not a logical thing to do if you don't know what's for sale or what it costs in the first place.

So I don't understand why people would get annoyed at other people's incomprehension. I know I experienced exactly the same thing the first time I ordered something from the company store.

The man has a point. . . . Lots of "Crying Wolf" around here makes it difficult to figure out what is real and what is not!:eek:

I have often wondered how drunk I must have been when I can't remember making a particular knife, only to find out later that it had been Photoshopped and I had never really made it in the first place!

It's all good though. . . I find that the more I drink, the more I can discern the BS from reality. . . . I may be wrong on that, but if I'm too drunk to know, I've already won, right? :eek: :D

So, here it is in a nut shell, "When in doubt. . . Drink more!!!!"

I hope that I have helped not only those who were confused, but their livers as well ! ! ! ! :thumbup:

It would probably help make things a bit clearer if BCS would post a picture or two of the SAR-8 LE on the BCS website like they usually have done for the knives being sold there - but I guess things have just been moving so fast and they're trying to respond to the orders that they haven't had the time to update the site. My guess.

Piglets must learn to be both quick and agile in order to someday become hogs.

Also a really good indicator - when Hog Treachery is occurring, there are usually a few people calling them out on their treachery, and more importantly when the Boss Man himself posts a comment congratulating everyone who scored a knife, you can be pretty confident that the knife is for real ;)


If you missed out on this one, I would keep checking the store regularly - Sometimes the store will show no availability, and then a few will become available, and back and forth for a while.





More importantly, it's getting mighty close to 5:00 here... LET'S DRINK!!!

Probably not worth the effort when you expect a knife to sell out overnight. And it looks like that's what happened with the Sar8. They ain't kiddin when they said it's a limited edition :eek:


Now bring on the Combat Grade version in BAMA CLAY!!!!
 
do you folks think this is a better camp knife than nmsfno? Or is it basically the same?

I called Skunker. . . He's having website issues. .. He's working on them. . . He's drunk, so expect very little progress. . .

There are SAR 8 LEs left but the cart has shut down on him. . .

I told him that I was only getting pics of the SAR 4 when I punched in www.bussecompanystore.com . . .
