WARNING: To NYC Residents & Tourists

Not 4 inches, not over 4 inches, but under 4 inches and NYC says they don't want it showing. Everything else is illegal
 
Before I say anything I want to preface this by saying I am a 24 year old Puerto Rican man. I was born in and have lived all my life in NYC. Specifically Spanish Harlem. I Once lived over a funeral home and saw a Blood funeral. That is to say a funeral for a blood gang member with over a hundred young individuals wearing red Rest in Peace Blood shirts. At one time a number of Latin kings were living in my building. From my window i have seen fights and beatings. Hearing gun shots is not unusual. Members of my own family have served time in jail for drugs and have committed and been the victims of much worse crimes.

Having said that i find these laws ridiculous. Simply because criminals are criminals because they break the laws. These laws are not to protect people but to give them the feeling of safety. You have to keep masses pleased and that is what pleases them.

Whats really funny is that i am a liberal who believes that people should be held accountable for what they do. Guns. knives even dogs are not inherently evil of violent. It is the mind behind them. Having said that i think we should just carry chainsaws. Think about it.
