Warning!!!! Upcoming Review in the somewhat near future. First Impressions.

HOLEEE-MOTHER! that's um..something I would NOT want stuck in me!
I think that would tend to be rather messy ;)

Can I be in the test group? :D

Very cool,

I would buy one. I love the fact that the little dorky knives are omitted.
Nice flat looking holster. I wonder how the Kamis cut the thread for the nut.

Yvsa, your picture of the UF loads quickly and shows beautifully. those others having the problem in viewing that knife would not have the problem if they'd just learn not to adjust their CPU settings with a khurkuri. I know there are some out there that think they can do anything with the proper Khurk but they sparks like all hell inside the computer and the chips aint worth a darn after all that sparking. So I am not surprised and it's no wonder they have problems dowloading a simple photo of a very w-i-c-k-e-d blade.

Man, that beauty is aggressive! But I like that it doesn't look false. Sometimes "fighting" knives just look silly and are not tough enough. This thing will get the job done with extreme prejudice, but is also practical. I like it!

Chris

I like it...To much knife for me, but I think it has promise...Only think I would change (besides the size..lol) would be to straighten out the knife a bit..Has more bellyarc than I like

Would look nice next to my CQB chainsaw though :p

It takes tha lotion!

Good point. I usually don't have design inputs, but I also would like to see the tang nut a little less pronounced. I have seen some that were actually inlet in a bit, but I'm guessing this one is just screwed right down onto the buttcap. Certainly functional, and would really lock the handle into place.

Actually the nut is screwed down on top of a big honkin washer which is on top of the butt cap.
The bolt/tang it is screwed onto is a half inch thread. The tang in this thing has to be massive!!!! :D

Sorry, Yvsa but I can't see any of the pictures you posted. I'd like to see that knife. Do you have a link to view it?

Let me know if you can see it now.;)

Looks interesting. Between this and the Cobalt AK prototype the kamis have shown me that they can still make a beefy blade.

i think for a fighter, a bit less belly on the blade:

I'm going to be very interested in this review. Yvsa has a lifetime of experience around knives and different styles, and has studied fighting tools. HE also has more real world experience than most. One thing I require of my khuks is people/cougar/DannyinjapanUFO defense, and this blade looks capable. At that weight it should chop also.

It is in the Movie UBE family, but it is not a cut-out of either. Kronckew's digital modification looks mean, but also looks like it can't chop wood.

munk

might not chop wood, but that's not what an ultimate fighter is for, unless they're wearing wooden armour. am attempting to buy a reel ndn one now that is similar. handle a bit different tho.

we'll have to wait & see what the master says about the one he's testing tho, maybe he can borrow a few test subjects from up north, they must have a few spare yankees willing to volunteer for a good cause. at least he can chase 'em down now if they won't hold still......

I tend to usually go with the powerful/chops well school of fighting kukuris.

HOWEVER, in this case, I think I prefer the Kronckew Digi-Fighter. Just needs a somewhat slimmer handle.

John

That digi fighter does look awesome, doesn't it?

Looks like you could eviscerate a water buffalo with that.

munk

Danger, thread veer in progress:

Think the evisceration of buffalo has already occured, they must have released the new model early in nepal;

Do you see the buffalo intestines over the left hand side of the temple entrance?

(picture is from nepal (from a google on 'buffalo guts' which gives you someones holiday snaps of nepal), & yes those are buffguts)

we now return you to our regularly scheduled subject:

Wow, that's one heck of a mean-looking knife. Guarranteed to scare the crap out of anything that goes bump i nthe night.
