I missed out on the TC Barlows... I am not missing out on these. They look amazing!

It looks great! The UN-X-LD is a nice touch. Everything on it is a nice touch.

Now I'll selfishly say "to bad it isn't a single bladed knife!".

The handles have been decided.
The 2 bone will be Autumn Gold and Blood Red.
The 2 wood will be Cocbola and, Blackwood or Ebony.
The fifth handle will be polished Stag. It should come out off-white to cream, with the occasional streak of character.
Since the regulations on Ivory have gotten tougher, I am hoping for a handle that has a nicely mellowing appearance. It should work well!
(Got my fingers crossed!) It also uses Stag that would otherwise be un-interesting, honoring the deer, and using rather than trashing the resource!

I really approve of this Charlie. As my Dad would say;

"You're a good egg"

:)

Take another look at the knives.

Oh my!!! These sound fantastic.

The blood red bone and cocobolo really appeal to me! Going to be a hard choice and might just have to come down to a coin toss on which one I pick. :) The polished stag also sounds very promising as well though! Probably come down to which one I am able to get my hands on as I'm sure they will sell out pretty quick. Any idea yet on how many will be made Charlie?

Jake

I'm intrigued by the polished stag. I love the pioneer bone on my 23, and this sounds like it will be a similar concept.

Perhaps it will look a little like my Dixie that I purposely bought thick so I could shape and smooth to my liking. Obviously without any of the figure left though.

Outstanding choices......I am going to have to try and get the polished Stag somehow....lol.

I'm really looking forward to getting these beauties in stock! They are lookin' GOOD!

Hey Jamie!
Will you please post a pic of the other side of your polished stag??
If you can . . . . .

I am going to try and get one in ebony and one in polished stag. I think they will make an exquisite pair.

I'm not going to lie to you. I like this. I like this quite a bit. Dang. I wasn't planning on spending that kind of money on another knife so soon, but I may have to change that a bit.
