VS.
So, I was given some tax return money to spend by my wife. I had enough to buy a Battle Mistress (have been eying one for 3 years now).
I am just finishing up my law degree, which means poor ville (thus the 3 years of drooling, but not feeling I could drop the scratch on one). I finally had enough to buy one, and of course the supply of the ones I was interested dried up on the exchange. Then my wife says I need to put some toward the stereo in her car (well, when the 2 year old stuffs coins in the cd slot that tends to break things). Ok, that is alright.
But I have been needing a leather motorcycle jacket for a while, years longer than I even knew I needed Busse (the "need" is strongest right after some knuckle head tries to kill me on my bike, which happens lots). The jacket I want is on sale for like $200+ off. It was $384 for the jacket, so I could have bought my dream Busse........ for a few bucks more.
My wife is going to buy me a graduation gift worth more than a Battle Mistress, but refuses to even think about making that my gift (she thinks I already have too many knives/guns/weapons).
I know I will be regretting this decision for a while until either A: I graduate and get a job and buy one, or B: Some knuckle head finally manages to run me over, and the jacket saves a few yards of my tender skin.
Do I deserve to be in the Busse hall of shame for making this decision? (made all the worse in that I have no Infi at all).
