I saw jhalb's sale thread here and noticed the following:
A lot of people ask for 3.5% in fees when the actual fee is 2.9% plus $.30 cents per transaction (barring international and other special transactions). I know it's probably none of my business and I should just keep it to myself, but I can't help but to occasionally reach out to a seller to politely inform them of the actual fee arrangement. I figure that it doesn't do any harm, and I try not to be rude about it. I have only done it a couple of times in the past.
So, I sent jhalb a message just to let him know, not to start an argument or anything. Here is what ensued:
Then I asked a followup question:
This response was completely disproportionate, and I think speaks negatively to the character of the seller. That is why I'm posting it here. I don't know about you, but I wouldn't want to do business with someone who snaps at people like a maniac and refuses to reasonably respond to questions about why he's asking for a higher PayPal fee than actually exists.
Payment:
I prefer PayPal F&F, but, G&S is preferred per Blade Forums recommendations. Your choice, but for Goods & Services you must add 3.5% to the price of the knife. I will send you the payment options for you to choose from.
