I always carry my slipjoints in my watch pocket. Very easy to access the knife.
I didn't like the nearly vertical position that the knife sat in the watch pocket of my Levis so I found some jeans that allow horizontal carry in the watch pocket of anything up to about 4 1/2 inches.
It's been working out great for over a year now.:thumbup:

I'm with puukkoman - too many close calls with a knife slipping out. Even a knife as small as 3 1/8" pokes its head out... You guys must have some big watch pockets. Mine are usually on 505's.

Most all of mine are the wider 550's, and my 3 1/4" swayback fits flat across the bottom. The 550's are a wider cut, and me wearing a 38 may be why it fits in better than in the 505's.
