"Watch Pocket" Knife

If I'm wearing jeans, I have a small (3 to 3.25 inch) slippy in the change/watch pocket. Unless I'm carrying a larger one as my main knife, in which case it's a small Spyderco living there instead.

Thanks to this thread, I've been carrying my newly acquired Case Pocket Hunter in my watch pocket & it's a great fit.
Frankly, I never even considered it before, as my slippies (usually small, peanut size) always rode in the front pocket.
I can't believe I neglected that handy little pocket all these years....:D
Many thanks to the OP....

Always referred to the fifth pocket in jeans as a coin pocket, but pocket watch pocket makes sense.

If wearing jeans (which is rare), I have three knives which ride well in the coin pocket: GEC #26 Sleeveboard Little Carver (3"), Cripple Creek Barlow (3.5"), KA-BAR-LOW from late '50s (3.5").

Thinking of acquiring a swayback, hope it fits.

On my pants that have a watch pocket, I will carry either my peanut or my mini copperhead. I have a couple others that probably would fit, but those are the ones that habitually ride there when I have on suitable britches.

I carry a Leatherman Micra in my watch pocket.
I'm not sure if it counts as "traditional" though.

I like how knives fit in the watch pocket but I'm too afraid of the knife falling out.

the only knife i carry now is a 2008 sak alox soldier and it easily fits in the watch pocket of my jeans. have found that while seated, it is not difficult to remove the knife. am hoping to purchase a sak alox farmer soon and hoping it fits just as easily.

I've noticed some watch pockets are deeper than others & that wouldn't be a concern. (depending of course on the size of knife you carry)
I do have a pair of jeans where the pocket isn't too deep & I won't put a knife in that one.
All jeans are not created equal....:)

I dont like thick knives for the watch pocket. Ive been carrying a Bulldog Canoe or a Buck Slimline Prince. The Canoe has two blades but only one backspring making it a nice choice for the watch pocket.
