Watch with best illumination?

I see a lot of movies. I have a habit of checking my watch to see where I am in the movie timeline (knowing beforehand how long the movie is) or sometimes it's "Oh, god, how long will this go on!"

But I, stupidly, sold my Luminox thinking my other watches would do.

Nope. Not my Pulsars, Seiko automatics, steel Swatch. Not my Casio G-shock that lights when I tip it toward my face - not bright enough for me.

So, before I buy another Luminox for $130-$150, what else has good lumination for around that price or less.

I also like watches, so I won't be happy wearing crappy watch with good lumination.;)

.

Sorry my bad on the forum ...... I have both watches . The Traser is a exact copy of my Luminox ( they might be made by the same Co. )

I have 2 "higher end" watches. My Luminox Series 3000 trumps them both.

someone must have moved the thread and not used the bladeforums moving service logo. last night when I saw this thread, it was in one of the for sale subforums.

I do really like the look of the trasers though. very nice! LApolicegear has one on closeout, atm.

for analog, luminox has the best illumination that i have found.

for digital, i have a casio waveceptor/tough solar. inexpensive, but reliable and great lumination and solar powered, so the light wont kill any battery.

I had a Traser P5900 (til some $@%! stole it at work) and have a Luminox 822, and both are bright enough to see any any level of light low enough that you couldn't see the hands/numbers without assistance.

The tritium trasers might not be as bright as the lumes on some other watches when newly charged, but 12 years is a lot longer than a couple hours.
