Watch with best illumination?

I love my Citizen and Seiko automatic divers. They all have excellent illumination, especially my Orange Monster. With that said, if I need to be able to read the time at 5:00 in the morning, or when I'm out night fishing, I wear my Luminox. The tritium may not be as bright as a freshly charged Seiko or Citizen, but it is much brighter than a not-so-freshly charged Seiko or Citizen.

It's hard not to love a Luminox; even my cheapo looking plastic cased version. Day time legibility is very good. Night time legibility is awesome. Water resistance is great. Very low profile on the wrist. Keeps good time. It has an EOL feature. Looks deadly on a 3-ring Zulu strap. It's a great no-nonsense watch.

I have personally found all of my ana-digi G-Shocks to be very disappointing. I have 3 or 4 of them. The lume on the hands is downright terrible, and the backlights never illuminate the analog hands properly.

I have one of the stainless steel Luminox's, and it's a great watch! Changed out the face plate, so there is no longer the Navy SEALs stuff there, just a radiation symbol on one side and H3 on the other. Love the bright glow! Makes checking the time at night very easy! Don't have to fully wake up to see what the time is!
I am concidering a Marathon Navigator, as my next watch. Does anyone have any experience with this watch?
