And some Michigan brewing co. High seas india pale ale.
I've got to say the BK11 is a great bottle opener

Any of you guys a fan of wheat beers? Ithaca brewing company has ans apricot wheat that is mighty tasty in the summer. This time of year I usually grab a darker beer though. I am a fan of Irish Red, I like that roasted flavor with the hint of caramel. Yuengling is always good too.

You should try Red Trolley Ale by Karl Strauss you'd probably like it. It has a toasty caramel/toffee hint with a really smooth finish. Very tasty.

Myself? Currently I'm giving the new Black Lager by Guiness a try. It's alright, to be honest. Nothing special but it's drinkable for sure.

For sure. I'm a big fan of Ithaca in general. They make a lot of good beers. Very cool little place to visit as well.

I have only tried one Guinness and it was too dark for me, It almost tasted like It had a hint of coffee in it. (i don't care for coffee), I will have to see if any of the places around here have that Red trolley and give it a try.

I have only tried a few by them but they all have been good. Another good more local brewery is Saranac I got a sampler pack by them a while ago that was called something like (trail mix) really tasty sample of beer. Some black and tan, some caramel porter, I think they had a Red, and some others I cant remember.

Nice Bladite! Last fall I did a Perry Cyser Mead, which uses pear and apple juice instead of water.... So far it's still pretty harsh but once it has time to mellow out it should be good.

I got the cider from an orchard around the corner, but the pears were wild-harvested.... the BK2 made short work of them until I could fit the chunks into my juicer.... good times.
