Water...at home, what do you do ?

Been buying bottled water for years from the local Mart. It,s occured to me that there must be a better way. Maybe a water cooler with home water delivery service ?
All those bottles going to land fills or 'recycled',. The inconvenience and weight of carrying and storing 2 or 3 cases every week or so.
Must be a better way.

How do you do Water in your household?

I have one of those megahome water distillers from the internet.

they work pretty well and if you rinse them out every time you use it they last for a while.

my wife commented on how she can actually taste the coffee she makes now so theres that

Berkey water filter with added fluoride filters. Have to clean every 3-4 weeks.

Also, avoids plastic bottles.

From the tap, though the missus likes to refrigerate hers first.

Still here, so I guess it's okay.

3-stage RO unit with a 3-gal storage tank. Had it for well over a decade. Bought it directly from an outfit that manufactures and services units for commercial use. We pay them to come out and service it every couple of years.

I'm another, from the tap, 81 and it hasn't killed me. yet. We do have a softener due to very hard water.

80ft deep well and filter. Water is on the hard side but tastes well. No supplementary calcium required

How can you stand FL tap water? Tastes like pool water to me, so we have filtered it since day one here.

Oh, right. Well water is different. The municipal tap water tastes like chlorine, sulphur, and regrets.

Tap water. Our rural water company sends out water tests yearly. Nothing wrong with it so I save my money for knives.

yeah bunch of private utilities and city water tastes like chlorine....cause they use it....

the county utility water isn't so bad tasting.....
