Wave Hook mod for a Spyderco Military?

Here is a crappy pic of one I did a while back with a dremel. I kind of wish I had never done it, but then again I never carried it anyways.

I just drilled through the g10 and added a bm clip, and I hand sanded a swedge. I also took quite a bit of g10 off reshaping the handle. It is still a work in progress.

I remember when you did that. Still a functional beaut to me.

Thanks. All in all I'm happy with how it turned out seeing as I had previously never modded a blade before. I just wish I would finish the flipping thing. I would probabely carry it if that was the case.

That's actually not bad at all.

I see nothing wrong with it. Good job.

Thanks all. I can be quite the perfectionest when it comes to projects like this. The only thing left to do is bevel the g10 where I took some off.

I really dig it.

SAD...you did a nice job with it. I might take the easier route and buy the Spyderco Endura Waved model. Yes, the Millie has a thicker blade at 0.145" than the Endura (0.125") so would likely be capable of heavier use. Depends on your needs. Of course, some of us just like the chance to mod our stuff, and we have fun doing it.
