  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

WD-40, why not to use it

WD40 for cleaning & displaycing water / moisture ..
Motor oil for lube ...

Got crudd N stuff on your blade ? Wont come off ? = WD40 ..

I often use WD-40 like a degreaser.

If I'm going to try to free up a siezed lock then I'll use something like tri-flow or some other teflon based spray lube. I find that it works pretty well for that.

I don't use WD-40 to clean out folders because it's not a food safe oil. Usually soap and hot water works pretty well anyways, so long as you dry it out and add oil quickly afterwards.

I always have a can of WD-40 in my rig. Nothing dries wet electrical components like it, it is a good idea to spray plugs and wires ect before washing the engine compartment too.

Works like a champ for drying off firearms after a wet day of hunting, despite all the evils said about why it shouldn't be used. I suspect those that bad mouth it must be soaking stuff in it.
