Farewell indeed! SR-101 is great stuff. However I am confident that whatever the replacement bacon is, whether it’s Voodoo’s 3V, Jerry’s new PUMP steel (Jerry’s Proprietary Ultimate Magnacut Protocol), or whatever you guys have brewing in the Lab Rats series, it too will be legendary.

Just please make sure its affordable. I’m more broke than I ever have been.

I felt a little silly, but some of them were just too good not to buy.

The pandemic revealed a buttload of weaknesses in our society. As my old Team Leader used to tell me, "It'll get worse before it gets better."

At least I have a boatload of the stuff and was able to avoid selling a bunch recently. Disappointing news though for sure. Hope it will make a triumphant return in the future and that an affordable replacement is able to fill its shoes in the meantime.

It's one of my favourite knife steels ever!!! Easy to sharpen, nuclear bomb tough, cheap, and an awesome look to it as it ages.

Thanks Busse for creating one of the most amazing steels for blades ever!

Wow. The times they are a-changing. It will be hard to find a suitable replacement for this "stellar" steel. SR-101 will be missed - the differentially hardened edge on my M9-LE is unparalleled.
