We could use some smoke

Like so many others. . .

Wishing you a speedy recovery Ken. I've had two back surgeries in the past three years and am very familiar with the recovery process, thank god the second one was a ringer, everything just went right, recovery, therapy, no need for any medications, everything! Here's to wishing the same for you.

Kevin

Sorry to hear this. Increase your protein intake following your surgery. I'd aim for 100g a day minimum. You'll be back in no time, enjoy your time off.

Sorry to hear that, Ken. You're the man and have helped get that place hopping at a tremendous rate. Best wishes for a speedy recovery.

We will sorely miss Ken while he is out. I appreciate your prayers. I'm sending mine up too. This man needs his hands.

Hope you heal fast. Small blessing it wasn't one of the important fingers :D

Oh man...so sorry to hear that. Take care of it properly indeed and get better soon.

I'm sorry to hear of your injury Ken. Be sure to allow it to heal completely and be sure to rehab it well.

Ken. Sorry to hear that man. Speedy recovery. If you need someone to package up those Fiddleback's then just let me know. ;)

I hope the surgery went well Ken. Now you can start working towards recovery. Take care my friend!!

Thanks everybody. Surgery was yesterday and went smoothly. I didn't die either, as far as I can tell. Inside this big bulky dressing I can ever so slightly move my pinky again and it feels delicious. Physical therapy starts next week. I'll keep you posted on my rapid progress.

Also, I'll be putting the thread up tomorrow, probably right around lunchtime. Andy has taken a few well earned days off to go up to the mountains with his family. It's a slightly smaller batch with some of the forged curly q knives we did at Trackrock last weekend.

Cheers,
Ken

I thought I heard the sound of one hand typing. ;)

Glad the surgery went well. Keep your desk job as long as you must to recover.

Glad the surgery went well Ken! Try not to knock the crap out of the physical therapists, that can be a challenge...
