*WE HAVE A WINNER* BK4 Machax GAW! - 1000 post milestone and Beckerhead acceptance

This is my official entry.

I don't own a Becker yet, but would absolutely love this to be my first. I did just recently get a Ka-Bar Dog's Head utility which I think is pretty great. But feel that BK-4 would be the most amazing outdoor companion to the Dog's Head. Never had anything even remotely similar to that 4. Would really love to add it to my "outdoor" collection and know I would be completely evangelical in my praise and market-n-tout. Every chance I get. Some of you that have seen my posts, know that I am completely OCD Evangelical for any blade that I like for any reason, let alone those that I just totally love.

Give me a chance (ok, make me grovel), and you would make a very happy knife knut. This gaw is not only something something that I have nothing like, but I have also never won a gaw on this or any other forum. I have given things away, but never had anything come this direction. So this would be amazing.

I would love it, hug it, and call it squishy. Ok, maybe I just don't have enough karma out there. [emoji12]

So now for the pic, I know these are not Beckers, but these are my first and only Ka-Bar's I have at the moment, and would be a perfect pairing with the BK4 for use in the outdoor woods. [emoji7]

I have really liked all the Beckers I've had (14,15,4) but have gotten rid of the 14 and 15 unfortunately. I still have the 4 that I modded. You might be thinking, if you have a 4 why enter this giveaway? Well, I'd like to have another to do a more extreme mod. I also might give my current 4 to my ex-boss as a thank you, but he's in Florida till next Summer.

Anyway, here's my 4 on steak duty. My favorite kind of steak is big, grilled, and covered in my secret spice recipe:

Here is my other passion. This entire setup was willed to me by my late friend, Al. I used to have heaps of my own shtuff but I sold it off as I needed coin at the time. But now I have a rig again. This gear will never be sold no matter how bad I need money. Anyway, thanks for the chance EmSee. This is really generous of you..



This small backdrop was painted by Al. He painted upwards of 150 banners just like this. This was one of the smaller ones. Most are over 6ft by 8ft. The paint is black light reactive so it glows like crazy under UVs. These are my favorite things. I play almost everyday..

 
Lots of good entries, the thread's slowing down but it'll be on for another week so keep 'em coming, any entry that fits the requirements will be included, doesn't matter if you have a 4 as long as you're gonna use this one too :) but really, put up a picture as per the requirements (or match the other requirements) and I don't really care what else you own, that's good enough. I'm enjoying the posts so far.

Thanks for the cool GAW. I don't have a 4 yet, but suspect if I did, it would be my favorite. I will admit that even though o have many other Beckers, there is only one that is my absolute favorite. That one is the BK2. Here you can see it next to my favorite liquor.

Here is my BK9 (favorite Becker so far), and my favorite subwoofer/woodworking project so far.

That's right, subwoofer.

I've always been somewhat into audio, and two years ago I decided I wanted to work on my woodworking skills, and figure out a way to get a nice big subwoofer into the "home theater" (I live in a 900 sq ft apt, so that room is also the front room, the guest room, etc) without it being just a big giant box in the corner that my wife would balk at.

So I made it look like furniture.

You can see how it blends in pretty well, until its "called upon". It does happen to be grossly overpowered for my situation (theoretically capable of ~116db at ~20hz), but I've never turned it up more than halfway. It normally runs at a touch over 1/8th power.

I think I'll go patriotic with this one - my bk14 (one of my favorite beckers - though they're all pretty close to a tie for my favorite) and the flag representing my favorite country.

I don't have a Becker yet and really I don't have any proper fixed Blades (the Mora Basic hardly counts) as I was waiting for a good deal on one that I would really like, to be the first.
This would fit the bill perfectly as both a collection piece (as it's a real looker) and camping knife (as it's got really nice materials on it).
It also bridges the gap to machete-land... I have a kukri, but that's too old and valuable to use camping and an Opinel 13 which can be used as a machete, but is far from optimal..
 
Sure I'm in.

Why I should win??? Because I am a rabid Busse fan and own zero Beckers..Becker fans seem to be as fan boy as Busse hogs...must be something to them. I refuse to buy a Becker so the ONLY way I can converted would be to recieve a Becker as gift or win one.

I held off for a bit because i wasn't sure i wanted to post this or not, but here goes.

Here is my BK-16 with my favorite items right now. They might not look like much but here is the story. The hawk style head I made out of an old rigger hatchet about ten years ago for my brother. Eventually he rehandled it and made the leather sheath based on one that I had made for my tomahawk.

The other item is a flint and steel I made for him about four years ago. He made the leather case for it.

These are my favorite items because they were things I made for my brother that he got great joy out of sharing our love for the outdoors and bushcraft. All that came to an end this March when he was shot in the chest and died a day later as I sat by his side. This is what I have left of him. He was only 36 and my best friend and the father of two little girls.

So there you have it. My favorite Becker with two of my favorite items in the world. I keep both next to my bed to remind me of the great times we had in the short time we had together.

I love Emerson folders, and their ergonomics, simplicity, and simple but effective steel really goes along with the Becker mentality I feel.
Sadly, I either traded or sold my large Becker's recently, I had a 5 and a 9... College bills came back around and I had to let a few things go... I would love to have a full sized Becker again!

I will be posting a picture of my 16 and my wedding ring ! My ring is one that my wife's grandfather gave me and my wife freakin rocks ha ! She doesn't mind my knife addiction one bit, in fact she has fueled my recent busse/kin buying rampage haha. I have mostly all 4-6 inch fixed blades and have been drooling over a big becker chopper for a long time !
