My most dreamt of practical Busse would be a SHE2 with an ASH2 blade in satin INFI. Money in hand and ready to buy!

I say INFI Rodent 7 with a shorter clip point, wider blade, no choil, and .187-.2 inch thick. -OR- The same in 8" with choil might be interesting too. I really like the handle of the Rodent 7 and 9.

Yes, but the ASH2 has a thinner and lighter blade which is what I'm looking for. I have a Trash 2 and I like the light weight. So lets call spawn of the ASH2 and BME2 the Steel Hearted Battle Mistress SHBM LE. And give it a 9-9.5 inch blade of .2-.22 INFI with the SHE2 handle and handle angle. That's what I'm looking for. EDIT: With the blade width of the ASH2.

EDIT AGAIN: Looks like SHBM name was used. Anyway, BME2 with lighter ASH2 blade.

I hear you there. The Boom Parang is 3/16ths stock and one of the best choppers I own. Btw, my example of the BME2 came in at ~.235" with coating vs. the .25" originally advertised, which I like.

I think the absolute differences between the blades are that the BME is ~.5" longer, .5" (?) narrower, and .015" thicker. Not much on paper if you haven't tried one.

A BAe2 5.5 .22 high saber grind. Love my SHe2s and BAe2s need a middle contender in there :-)

Still don’t know why this has never happened with all the boar talk. How did you hunt boar back in the day, a spear!

I'd love to try one. What is the weight of a BME2 ? I wish Busse would publish the approximate weights of their blades.

Mine weighs in at 22.3 ounces, micarta scales. I think the ASH2 is ~20-21oz but never had one.
