Ed, not had the privilege to have known you, but Rest In Peace my brother.
 
This is a strange coincidence- I had just become aware of Ed last night. I was just reading some kind and witty comments Ed had written about axes. I thought, “Here’s a guy after my own heart!”. Very sorry for the (doubtless) many who loved him. The world needs as many Eds as it can get.
 
this is a bummer to read...he was always adding some great insight and value into conversations. Seemed like a great guy. Best to his friends & Family
 
I just found this out today and am very sorry to hear the news. I always looked forward to reading his insights on these boards.
RIP
 
He will be sorely missed. His contribution to this place was huge, I never met or directly talked to him but always read his posts for the insight. Rest in peace.
