I'll say "bristly rat", "tufted rat", "scabrous rat", (cause the handle is bumpier) "pallid rat", "spectral rat" (cause its uncoated), and thanks for the contest.

I'll be using mine (getting one regardless of the outcome of this contest :D ) for camping and hiking , so my first choice would be....

"The Woodchuck" or "Woodschuck" , a couple more "The Vole" and "The Cricetidae"

I think rodent names are nice and appropriate :) Doesn't always have to be something vicious and intimidating like "wolverine" or "venomous firebreathing badger of doom"

Versatility and utility reminds me of... - Urban Otter (hehehe)
Going by the handle shape (reminds me of a squirrel's tail kinda)... - Trail Squirrel or Elite Squirrel.
