Shakespeare references (a la Steel Heart)?!? Some from "Midsummer Night's Dream" which I just re-read and have handy:
Swift Shadow (referring to the brevity of happiness in a world of love and madness):
Swift as shadow, short as any dream;
Brief as the lightning in the collied night. (I, 1)
Vexation:
May all to Athens back again repair
And think no more on this night's accidents,
But as the fierce vexation of a dream. ((IV, 1)
Night Wanderer (referring to the devilish Puck, leading wanderers astray into
the swamp!):
Mislead night-wanderers, laughing at their harm. (II, 1)
Or, from "Troilus and Cressida," perhaps a name more fitting for a BIG fixed blade!
Blind Oblivion:
When time is old and hath forgot itself,
When waterdrops have worn the stones of Troy,
And blind oblivion swallow'd cities up,
And mighty states characterless are grated
To dusty nothing. (III, 2)
Okay, that's it from me. Gotta get back to work!
