So, I've seen countless photos of the knives and sheaths, but not of how you guys carry them. I've seen some pics of then attached to bags, but how do you guys wear them on the waist/belt? Whats most comfortable?

as for me i carry the 6, 5, or junglas on my belt. the 3 or izula goes in a pocket.

take it easy

I use the supplied paracord and wear the HEST, 3 or 4 on my belt Izzy goes in pocket.
The 3 is on my side as I type! :D

I don't know who originally came up with the paracord belt loop idea but whoever they are they are a genius. Simple, won't break, easy to replace, very secure.

That was Mike and I.... Yes, sometimes the genius just shows through our pretty faces.

I've used paracord on my personal sheaths for years and never found anything better for me. Brings the knife in against the body and adjusts for different carry on a whim. I've said it before, but I hate Kydex loops and Tek-Loks.

5, cross draw on clip, (carries nice and small for such a big blade)

6, on molle back, uncliped (which is why it's sorta flopped out to the side)

belt clip is easiest way to get a knife on and off quickly. everything else.... molle back is the way to be.

i've carried the 5 with supplied clip IWB. carry the junglas with a rifle sling over the shoulder, 3 and izula usually in pocket with esee-3 clips.

I like to carry it like this horizontally, but I was board so I braided up some twine and made it like this so that I could be worn on the left or right, horizontal or vertical.

The RC6 is carried easiest, I find, in scout carry. Not in the way while hiking/bush crafting, works great with the MOLLE locks.

Paracord Belt loops for me when carrying my HEST.

My 3 currently has the boot clip on it, but i think i'm going to switch it to the paracord method.

Forgot about that. I carry the 3 and 4 in pocket with the 3 clip. love that style, probably the most used in town.

I carry my 3MIL and HEST inside belt, reversed, on right side using boot clips. I also wear the 3MIL on a molle back sometimes.

I'm interested in the Paracord setup. You are talking about the one laid out in the instructional paper, right? If not, can you give us some of your tips?

Likeonce you tie it up, do you have to cut it off and re-do it each time or can you save it for future use by just removing the belt from in between the sheath and paracord?

I'm word-dumb, does anyone have some pictures so I can visualize it a bit better?

With the horizontal carry, it looks like you thread your belt through the twine, right?

I wear thick, 1.5" tall belts, really heavy-duty leather......if that matters.

i also wear 1.5" gun belts because I always carry my g19 on me. the stock boot clip does not fit over it because of its thickness. i am a pretty scrawny guy and found that horizontal carry, even with the izula, wasn't very concealable with practical placement on my wasteline. the izula will fit comfortably in your pocket while sheathed, but i like having one handed access to a knife so i opt for belt carry even with such a small knife. i took everyone's advice here in the esee forum and picked up a couple blade-tech klips from knifecenter. this is the best carry method for my needs that i've found for my izula and 3mil so far, and it doesn't interfere with drawing of my firearm. just got an esee-5 in the mail today so i'll have to play around with that one now.

Does the handle jab into your side time to time?

not with either one. i'd like if the 3 rode a little lower just for easier access, but as far as comfort they are both great. i think i still have the "quick draw" syndrome because of wearing a firearm for self defense, it hasn't really hit me that i usually won't have to get to a knife all that quickly.

i like that the BTK is universal enough that you can mount the izula sheath vertical, horizontal, and various angles of cant. with the 3 sheath it is just vertical or horizontal.
