The prices are good but service may be spotty.
Earlier this year I ordered something from them, waited several weeks, nothing, found that they had cashed my check but done nothing. After numerous emails, I did finally got my knife. Also, nobody ever answer their phone.

Never dealt with Discount Knives, but Knife Outlet is great. I've never had any problem with them.

I've ordered three times from Discountknives (the third hasn't arrived yet). I haven't had any problems, but be prepared to wait a while to get the knife...mine took about two weeks.

knifeoutlet.com is cheap and offer good service. I have ordered from both but I would go with knifeoutlet because there is too much bad news about Discount Knives recently.
Word does get around so Brian at Discount Knives better clean up his act.

I have talked to him and watched him and he has a genuine concern for his customers and his service.
Brian's service has been spotty and I have NEVER been able to get him on the phone. This is not to say you should not buy from him but I would like to be able to reach someone when I need to talk to them.
