Boy, you guys are good. I looked at my blade, it is just like that, including the arrow pointing up. So, it is most likely the left over blades from that year. They did a great job with it. I first thought it said "3001" not "BCCI", so I guess my eyes are going. I didn't even notice the arrow until I got it under some really good light. That is a great picture. Much easier to read in your picture than in real life.

I just got the Cherry Dymondwood Vantage's just about an hour ago. Boy, they are red! I'm not so sure I like the color, but they do add variety to my Vantage collection.

Well, I've never be into selling too much, but I'm sure I can find someone to give one of them to. More than likely someone on the forum.

I was hoping they would look more like the picture. I hope they aren't bright red.

I just got a new CS Cherrywood awhile back, so I'll photograph the two together as a comparison.

Post a photo Dave. I may need to order one for deer camp, if it's bright red you will not loose it on the ground! I did not order any of the orange handled stuff as some of you guys got a more pink color than bright orange! Photo's please;)

RE: The 112 buildouts.

Man, I can see this happening down the road a few years when everyone has forgotten about the web specials deal on them and that they were buildouts. Imagine all the head scratching, the confusion and folks scouring the newsletters and archives trying to find out when this one was a BCCI member knife! ;)
 
I was going to say that, too, that the bright red is practical in the field. I'm a S30V nut, but I may just get one of these with 13C26 Sandvik™ steel and the "autumn color" just to see ...:)

Not if you have the box with its number 0112B03-B, whereby the "B0" clearly distinguishes it as a "build out." Without the box, well, that's another matter.

I like the Cherrywood 110 pretty well. It's not quite the red that the Vantages are. Here's the way I'm looking at them now. This is going to be great for the Sunday Picture Show. I just got my computer hooked up to a 42" flat screen TV and it's a killer way to surf the internet.

I think I'll order one of those. Sweet looking redhead you have there;). It is good to be home for the holiday weekend, I'm working out of Carson City, NV. It's about 210 miles from home, so I only get to come home to the family on the weekends when the work schedule allows:(. I also had to take a 30% cut in pay and a loss on the travel expenses. But, at least it's paying the bills for now:thumbup:

Can you do one more photo of the redhead without a red background? That's a cool way to look at the SPS photo's.....42" screen, NICE.
