Here are some pictures of the 112. I said the sides are narrow and you can see more blade, this is a picture of the 112 with 2 other 112, to my eye the sides are narrower, and you can see more blade closed.

Here it is opened and by itself. Nice knife. As far as the vantage goes, that is really red, I like it.

Danged if I can find any difference. I've measured mine and it's exactly the same as the standard 112. Here's pictures of them stacked on top of each other. In all the pictures, they are actually sitting on top of each other. The chipped filint blade does measure a tiny bit wider.

Yeah, I guess your right. To me it just looks smaller. Boy, your pictures are great, you can clearly see the "BCCI" on the blade.

ITE gave me a call about the CF 112...THANKS Armand!!!!!! That is a really rare 112 that will truly be at home in my rare/odd/proto/1of1 112 collection..Does anyone know how many were made??? I LOVE BUILDOUTS!! I LOVE THEM BUILDOUTS!!

But I never even looked at all the other ones for sale....The 118 'palmwood' ????Hmmm... I better start looking more often!

Well, the chipped flint 112 was a great investment for at least one purchaser. He sold it on eBay for $149.99 + shipping. There's two more from another seller for the same amount that haven't sold though.

The blade's worth $50.00...Its really a great 112 to have...Correct me if I'm wrong but this is only the second chip-flint 112 ever made?? There was a partial CF done in 2002...Now that I really think about it David Yellowhorse MUST have 4 or 5 CF 112's...Joe can you help us with the answer ??/How many CF bladed 112's or heck, 110's has Buck ever made???

The 2010 dealer cat. has a partial chip flint with buffalo horn and blood jasper arrow head, designed to match the 2009 110 of the same design.

The 2010 knife is a 503 and is pretty cool too. It makes a nice companion piece for the 2009 110. The partial chipped flint blade would make it more of a useable knife IMO than the full chipped flint if a person wanted to carry one to actually use.

You're right, it's a 503. My bad memory, I guess. I agree the partial chip flint is better for a user. I have used my 110 jasper arrow and it draws attention when I do use it. It's not so fancy to be a safe queen but fancy enough to be a classy user.

They are very eyecatching knives alright. I've never carried my 110 and didn't get the 503. It's just a little too small for me. Now if they had made it a 500 or even a 501, I'd have gone for it.

Or even a 112 jasper arrow. :D
