Web Specials Released - 8/9/2023 + Gear & Apparel Sale - 8/10/2023

The gloves are great for handling cactus in my yard and you can't beat that price. Good add-on to hit the free shipping.

Note: Now that I received the gloves, these are not the same as I purchased in the past. These have a cloth backing, where the one I purchased before were cut resistant material.

Oh my. Burlap micarta on a 110 slim select. If it weren't for the funky new-style pocket clip that would be in my cart already. And man, why am I so attracted to the 539 Small Game knives? I hate the sheaths, but keep coming back for more. I gave each of my daughters one with a custom leather bushcraft-style sheath. Kept a couple back for myself, including one with a custom sheath, but this one is a different steel... It'll be a miracle if one isn't on it's way to Virginia by the time I leave for home this afternoon...

At first, I was only getting a couple of different web errors trying to see the items, but I persevered and was eventually able to load them. Then, another issue saved me some money. I was going to order a few including that burlap 110 and a 500, which I do not yet have. But, I need the ZIP+4 on the address, which is not accepted. It's also too particular with the first address line when I need the second for something else. Oh, well. The old system let me order, but not the new one.

Buck Knives Inc. Buck Knives Inc. Perhaps that issue ^^ is something the web developer can address. My orders from before the web site change may provide some shipping and billing test address data for them to use. As a BCCI member, it would be nice if I could order some more knives directly from Buck.

In for some classic Bucklites! Handful of 422's and 426's. Stoked for some work knives or maybe handouts.

Picked up some of the Mr. Crappie gloves, for a few dollars what the hell.

Yup, I picked up a 422.

I had a Buck 422 in Boy Scouts (along with various other knives that I used) and ended up carrying it all the way through high school and into college where I eventually lost it. I've missed that knife ever since. Now I'm waiting for my old friend (sort of) to come back!

The 500 Duke would be a good grab.
There's a mini Vantage w/ s30v that's a nice knife as well.

It seems a number of these items are knives that have shown up at various retailers.

I wish I knew who the website developer was for the new website. I know of a childrens goat rodeo that could use a webpage. They don't have one now, as they're pretty disorganized with things running in various directions.

At least one of the vendors I occasionally peruse had a 422 or 426 on their website a month or so ago. I wasn't sure if it was NOS or something Buck started making again since it wasn't on the Buck website. I was going to get it hoping it was 425 but forgot all about it.

Photos of the Bucklites show production dates of 2011 and 2012. I can just imagine a box being knocked over in the warehouse or some dark, forgotten basement in the factory.
"Who the hell out these back here, a decade ago?"

That's a really good deal on the Sprint Ops Pro. I wish it had a different locking mechanism.

Does anyone have a Maverik? That looks intriguing.

I've had the 422 in my cart twice now. Would be cool to have a brand new, old Buck from the company.

Hmmm... thinking about those Bucklites... and there's no way that I need another keychain knife...
