I agree Silver, but at the time I was too lazy. I'll quote the other post below. I did check to see if she'd fixed it already.

Man, 6 months ago all the relevant threads were on page one or two. With these Monday sales and cool new guys and increasing awesomeness of our forum, things get pushed down the pages at a surprising rate.

I came here because I stumbled upon Survive completely by accident (up till a couple of months ago, I had no clue as to what it was!!!) I became interested in LionSteel and some Google search kept directing me toward BF. I posted a Q there which went unanswered for days! Then on YouTube I found some videos and reviews which sort of turned me off the LS M7 in Sleipner steel, although I am generally a big fan of German and Swedish steel manufacturer's!

How did I come upon Survive! (this may help Ellie and Co):

I stumbled upon Fire and Steel YT channel by those two goofy Norwegian guys raving about GSOs and prior to that some English woman bushcrafter who was using a GSO and had mentioned that it was a fantastic make by a guy named Guy Seiferd over here in the U.S. (hello!) but that they were very difficult to get hold of! That sounded like a challenge to me and really piqued my interest which lead me to BF again through Google. Then I found that the GSOs had quite a lively sub forum and I decided to pay up and become a member as I was getting tired of having to wait for my posts to get moderated before they were allowed to show!

Survive forum 1000% has the best people on here and is the only forum i follow constantly because of that (plus because survive have the best knives out lets not forget that).
