Nice Tin Chirra! Thamar has a little competition, look at those fullers!
I liked it so much I sent an EMS and already got the DD. :)

I think I'm falling in love with these MMCR's. That's a delightful picture with the big one and the little one.

Hope Bhakta keeps pounding them out for us.

Ram sure did nail them fuller on the Tin Chirra huh? Wow!

Yeah, I'd say he knocked those fullers out of the park! The whole thing is a hybrid, the end cap, the belly, the fullers, the decorative inlay.... That Kami is a keeper for sure!

That East meets West knife is really growing on me, trying to resist, but I'm failing miserably.

You might take a beating and lose some blood but your wife is a nurse, their supposed to be compassionate so when she gets done beating you she'll feel obligated to start the healing process and sooth your pains.

Least ways that's how it ought to be, but she could be a rough customer too.

I say go for it, but I like it on the edge. Long as the edge ain't to close to the top of a flight of stairs you know?

Hari working now or from back when? What's his mark?
That looks pretty close to specs, less choil and the front of the handle is bigger than the original?

That's the problem, because she's a RN, she knows where it hurts the most, which is in the wallet. Then, after cleaning me out, the physical pain starts. Thank goodness we live in a ranch style house with no stairs. I was thinking ahead before I bought the place. But then of course, she knows me pretty well, and she usually just gets even by going shopping and spending about 10X whatever I spent for a knife, you know what kind of shopping spree the East meets West blade will cost me??? Not to mention, a part of my hide.

East Meets West kinda reminds me of a Falcata's leaner, faster little brother. Me likey:)

However, I'm gonna snag one of those micro Roses sooner or later. I've often thought that a 15" version would be heaven.

I love Yvsa's design. I treasure mine. However, 20" is a pretty dang big blade. 15" would be sweet. These little 10-12" versions would be lovely hide away fighters.
Ya know, a dueling knife to carry when you don't feeling like carrying YOUR real fightin' knife;)

So gorgeous.

I don't believe he works for HI full time. However he does most of the large CR's I have or have seen. His mark is a rearward facing arrow. Long ago I believe it may have been a five pointed star. Also, that's standard picture perfect CR appearance.

looked like the front of the handle may be a bit thinner for a little bit more rapier/fencing grip? with my eyes and limited understanding ... who knows.
Trouble in paradise, the list grows!

I feel silly keep logging and posting about the knives I swear I'll get...
I know the CR is tougher than anything I could throw at it but I'd feel like a barbarian chopping kindling with it!

Any guesses on handle length vs blade length on the MMCR?

Just guessing from the pictures. On the 11" version it appears 50/50. On the 10" version the handle appears slightly longer than the blade. Not very scientific. Camera angles and shadowing can all distort plenty.

It's very close to the Greek Kopis. I mean, I consider it an HI made small Kopis. I really want one, and I'd also like a larger one too, 26 to 32 inches overall, but similar weight.

As for the MMCR, I really want one. Thankfully, it looks possible that in the next few weeks my cash flow may increase, so I may pick one up. I'm also considering a Glock 19 or a SIG SP2022. So many temptations.
