With the 3/16" thickness of the BWM I would say 19 Ounces.

Hi Amy - is there any way to get an in-hand shot up? Just curious...

Thanks!

Whatever it is it will be a lot less than the CGFBM. :)

Amy,

That would be super helpful--thank you!

Could you please give us both weights--CG and LE?

Thanks a bunch,
Will

I'm thinking the LE and the CG will weigh roughly the same. With a .185" thick full convex blade on the CG and .220" thick saber ground blade on the LEs, I think the weights will even up with the variations in the grinds.

Just think about how the ASH-1 LEs at .220" full height flat ground weigh less than the Skinny ASHs with a .190" full convex.

I'm curious to find out what Amy comes back with. :)

Well believe it or not we have been kinda busy:p:p

Anyhoo....Combat Grade Bushwacker Mistress with the G-10 handles is about 23 ounces....we did not have time to weigh the beast with canvas micarta handles....but it will a tad lighter(I am saying a tad people)...and do not hold me to this...:eek:

The Limited Edition will be around 26(ish) ounces :)

Hope that helps:thumbup:

BTW....The Janitor helped me with this:confused::confused: he is usually drunk so:rolleyes: :p

Wow, I didn't realize that. Been thinking of picking up a skinny for a while because I though it was lighter. Thanks, now I can just use an LE. Also like a FFG better than convex.

On the BW weight...what did the CGFBM weight? If your convex adding weight theory holds true on these, with the fact the CGFBM had the CBT that lessened weight, the thinner BW could weight more than the CGFBM.

Will be interesting to see the weight comparrison.

Skinny and LE ASH weigh about the same in my experience. I've had 3 LE's and 5 Skinnies and all have weighed between 15 and 15.5 oz. Skinny is slightly more blade-heavy in terms of balance, because the tang is thinner than on the LE, obviously.

someone with a scale or just knowledge: can you list the weights of NMFBM and CGFBM
