weird things you found in the forest?

I found a radio controlled airplane with a 15 foot wingspan and actually found the owner. Also lots of arrowheads, arrows and a late1800's blasting cap. And of course Spanish pornography and syringes and pipes not made for tabacco.

The coolest by far would be a row of abandoned houses with a street but streets remotely close to get there by.

the weirdest thing i've found hiking through the woods was a group of nudists. some might not think thats weird, but it was in the middle of nowhere...

I've found a bunch of old, blob-top bottles from the early to mid-18th century. Also, some old ceramic cameos, that seemed to have just been thrown on a dump ages ago. They survived quite nicely being stoneware and are worth hundreds on the collector's market. There are lots of old, horizontal shaft coal mines in the area and therefore, lots of small communities gone to seed. Lots of good places to use a metal detector, but also loaded with priceless treasures like the ones above. Look for old foundations and especially any signs of a dump or outhouse (dumper)

I was looking for snakes with my dad (I have an addiction to collecting snakes as well as knives). We were in the uari mountains in north Carolina and we are up there climbing up a mountain then we turn a corner and we see dead turtles, fish, rabbits, squirrels and birds hanging from a tree with paracord. There was no water that we could find or see on the map.

One time I was camping in the Sandhills in nc. We put up our tent and go to sleep. When we wake up in the morning I go out to relive myself on a tree and I look around and see this colt 1911 sitting there right next to the tree. I got a closer look and say there was blood all over the muzzle. Of course my mind went straight to murder so I ran back to the tent and my dad and I got out of there!!
