Bay Sniper ~ One shot ~ One kill ~ No regrets

CBS's Katie Couric, while interviewing a Marine sniper asked: "What do you feel when you shoot a terrorist?"

The Marine shrugged and replied: "Recoil."

Ya gotta love that answer!

Ken

I've been lurking a while, I suppose I should say 'hi'. I live in the middle of nowhere, also known as Wyoming. I've been on the net a long time, and this forum has a very good 'vibe' to it, for lack of a better word.

And to think that when I joined in Nov, I didn't own a Busse. You all have corrupted me :)

Semper Fi to that 8541.

Hey xanax, nice to meet you. Is that hog killed down south the one they called hogzilla. Seen it in the GON a year or two ago. The one in Atlanta suburb was within last two weeks. It was pushing 1000. They enterviewed the man that shot it and he was holding a bow. Pretty sure thats what he used. It was a suprise, since all the huge one's have been killed down south.
It should be in one of the upcoming GON's. Maybe see you at the Blade show.
I'm not sure what GON is, but I thik it was killed with a bow also. It was in a cold steel catalog. I am going to try to get to Blade this year, but work is killing me. I am going to beat some INFI this weekend.

I was a Hospital Corpsman back in the early 90's. All respect to Marines. I was mostly an admin puke but did a stretch at MCRD in the clinic there (I was one of the "good" docs ;) ) and went to the mountain school at Bridgeport for cold weather training.

I LOVE that sniper quote! It gives me hope.

No. California. The delta is where I do most of my hanging out. Fishing and such. Martinez is where I live. peace, John

Found Busse a few months ago and it's been a slippery slope ever since.

I'm originally from Roseville, California, but I've spent the last few years at Fort Bragg, North Carolina because that's where they keep paratroopers. In a couple days I'll be in Afghanistan though.

Be well Brother, come home safe and please, as you go, let it be with the knowledge that you have our gratitude for your work and protection.

St. Louis now. I was born in Daytona, FL but spent most of my adult life in Knoxville, TN.

Before I moved to St. Louis, I lived about ten minutes from the entrance to the Smoky Mtns. Nat'l Park. Now I just live within minutes of 10 Starbucks.
