Welcome to the BECKER KNIFE & TOOL forum. BK&T has a 20+ year history of providing edged tools to every variety of Outdoorsman-Soldier, Hunter, Bushcrafter, Wilderness Survival Practioner, and other Operators of many descriptions.....I hope this forum becomes a pleasant place for you to drop by and chat about any questions you may have about my knives, your BK&T knives and my plans for future knives.....

I am lucky enough to live in the middle of an almost perfect testing ground...90 acres of wooded mountain...... Our ridge is mixed hardwood, poplar, oak, pine and hickory, and our few acres of lowland has American cane, willow, cattails, and river birch in profusion....I have been doing some extensive field testing in the last couple of months and soon...In days not weeks I will be posting some pics of recent testing and some of the new blades in their native habitat....

Almost every blade we have produced over the last two decades has been a blade I really wanted to own or a blade that a trusted collaborator really wanted for himself.....

I firmly believe that the best designer of equipment is a person who has intimate knowledge of the product through USING that product or very similar ones regularly......One of the reasons my big choppers have the balance they do is that my other job requires the constant use of knives and you quickly learn how important balance is... The competitors I tend to most admire are almost all USERS of knives, and you can almost always tell just as soon as a user designed the knife comes to your hand.....

By the way....I want to know what I am doing that you like and I also want to know what your gripes are......I will listen to all gripes, but I must tell you that I take direction only moderately well...Please feel free to post pictures of BECKERs in use. I LIKE to see my babies used, and because I got started making knives by modifying existing ones that "weren't quite right" I am always interested in mods, so please share those too......

Sooooo....Welcome, put your feet up, loosen your belt, grab a cup of coffee and let's talk knives.......

All Best....

I am honored to be the first to post here. I have a BK9 on my short list right now, it will be my first Becker and first large chopper. It is great to see you back after a few years away, I missed the boat the first time. Good luck with Ka-Bar and future success.

Great to see you here Ethan Old Boy!

Now that you are a Moderator I shall have to behave myself! :D

Thanks Jeff...I think you will enjoy your BK9, anyway I hope so....

All Best.....

Hey Gibbs.....

Why do I think that your pledge to behave will have the half life of a severely damaged neutrino.......Thanks for the kind words and I promise I won't hold you to that pledge....

All Best....

Glad to see the Forum up & Running.. I own just a few Camillus version of BK&T.
2ea. BK1
1ea.BK11
1ea.BK7
I love 'em
I will try the new Ka-Bar versions soon

What a pleasant surprise!! And what a strange coincidence...just got a Brute today, and my (Camillus) Becker family got its third member. BK7 and BK9 are quite happy about lil' Brute :D Next week I'm going to take all of them out into the woods.

Great news that you have your own forum Ethan, I'll be around here a lot as there are a lot of Beckers I don't own yet. One still holds the dream of a Magnum Camper...

Greetz and stay sharp,
CZ

Hi Eathan.

Missed out on getting a Tac Tool the first time around - glad to see it back with your other offerings under a new company.

Hello. I don't have anything new to say that hasn't already been said. Looking forward to the product line expanding.

The Becker line has always been one of my favorite all time line of knives. Can't wait to get a couple of the new ones!

Great to see this new forum, and looking forward to future offerings from BK&T.

Are there any plans for future models similar in size to the Necker? It's one of my most-used blades, and I would love to see some additional Hard-use / small package Beckers.

Since Ethan requested in-use pics ...

All the best,

Ethan,

Great to see you here! I still remember how well the Brute design worked in the wilds of Idaho when we filmed Ron Hood's "Solo" video!

Look forward to seeing more of you here.

Best,

~Brian.
